All of my content didn’t come over from Wix. What should I do?
If your Wix site is still live, you can try to reimport the information following the steps above. Any existing content will not be duplicated. The importer will only upload new content that hasn’t already been uploaded.
It’s also important to note that the import can take 10 minutes or more depending on how much content you’re importing from Wix.

Will my Wix site be available during the import? What about afterward?
Your Wix site will not be affected by the import process, however if you have a custom domain you can use that with WordPress.com instead of Wix:
How do I use my custom domain (example.com) with my WordPress.com site?
In order to use your existing domain name, you will need a WordPress.com plan. Then you can either:
- Transfer your domain to our registrar
- Configure your domain to point to your WordPress.com site (advanced)
My Wix theme didn’t transfer over. How do I customize the look of my site on WordPress.com?
Your Wix theme will not move to WordPress.com in the import. However, you can check out the available themes on WordPress.com at https://wordpress.com/themes/. You can use the selectors at the top of the page to choose between different theme features and click the ellipsis icon to view a theme demo or active a theme on your site.
